Which is worse?

Knowing there’s a problem and not knowing the solution, or not knowing the problem altogether? Suspecting every man’s intentions, or taking a leap of faith each time? Arguing about every little misunderstanding, or letting all of them fly by? Taking a chance that ends up in a failure, or not taking the chance altogether?

One can never really say.

One can never really say unless one has a standard by which to measure, a comparison. And the standard here can only be a previous instance of the exact same situation.

And since that never happens, the vicious circle goes on. :)

Einmal ist keinmal.

I believe these are questions whose answers differ from person to person. But if it were up to me, I'd say, I'm the sort of person who'd prefer knowing the problem rather than letting it brew without my notice. Ignorance is bliss but hey, not for me. I'm also the sort of person who keeps a huge amount of faith in fellow beings and I'm an inherent pacifist. I always keep out of arguments, but maybe that is a bit cowardly. On 'chance', I always take them. Not because I'm brave but because I don't want t regret 'not' taking that chance... which is the worst form of regret that can ever exist. And I speak out of experience.

:)

Thoughtful. very thoughtful.

@S: Haha yeah :) Quite a predicament it is!

@Ed: Yeah I think I more or less agree with your stance. I end up letting most miscommunication go, cos I believe in giving someone the benefit of doubt before jumping to conclusions! :)

Some things are better know than otherwise. Atleast you will come to accept it and prepare to deal with it. People often say diseases like cancer is terrible because you literally end up counting down to your end. But somehow, in some other ways, it's not really that bad because you know your family can prepare for it - as brutal as it might sound.
